“Detroit, Michigan?”… I thought. “Why Detroit? Out of the endless possibilities of cities and states, this one?”Sometimes I still wonder what it would of been like if my parents had chosen a different stay of residence.

Before arriving to our new home, as the artsy dreamer I will always be, I researched and looked at photographs of the old and new Detroit.I was intrigued and skeptical. They showed life, tragedy, mystery and most importantly strength. This city is full of surprise bad and good ones, and the people of Michigan have learned to embrace it and so have I.

The blog will contain the beautiful art, history, food, fashion, culture, events, and life of Detroit.
